>>35740561>>It's not for youAnd? Technically no Pokemon game is for "me" because I'm 21, but they're still playable and an enjoyable experience. Cutting 650+ Pokemon and forcing the player to do GO styled captures with FORCED motion controls is just awful, plain and simple. It was entirely possible to create a "baby's first Pokemon" experience without simultaneously alienating the part of the fanbase that actually supports the franchise. The fact that cross gen evolutions are barred for the sole reason that they aren't Gen 1 is inexcusable. It's even more infuriating considering the stacks and stacks and stacks of money both Niantic and GF have, they could have made something really special, but instead it's just another reminder that Pokemon will never truly flourish with these devs at the helm.
