Here is my taste. Hating on Hau because he is weak is the stupidest shit ever. EVERY rival is really weak. I think I actually never lost a single rival battle in any of the games. The difference is: Hau aknowledges how weak he really is and that affects him so much there comes a point where you don't even wanna battle him out of pity. He's pretty much the only one that made me feel for him, root for him. Hating on Hau is such a wiener move, man, specially with all of those edgelords like Gladion and Silver so high ranked in most of those tierlists.
