Guys, I'm really tired of this. Everytime we think something good just came up, everytime we bother to get hyped, it's immediately revealed to be FUCKING NOTHING. HOLY SHIT WHAT IS THIS GAME? WHY IS THERE SO MUCH NOTHING!? I'm trying really hard to give Gamefreak the benefit of the doubt, I'm really trying to hold out hope that they're just saving the best reveals for the last month before release, and to be honest, there's still a good chance that'll happen. If I recall, the PWT was revealed on the final month of BW2's prerelease, so maybe they're really waiting to pull something like that again.
But my God, this is arguably the worst prerelease season for any Pokemon game yet. No enthusiasm, nothing to really get excited about, coupled with the facts that the 3ds era has been underwhelming overall, and GF's new business model of appealing to the mobile crowd which, according to Masuda, is the reason they don't even try with postgame content anymore. There is a lot stacked against these games and so far it's not looking good.
