This was my first time using Serperior and I'm convinced that anyone who says it's a bad in-game starter has never used it. It takes a bit to get it going in the beginning, but it ended up being my most reliable teammate. It's bulky enough to tank even super effective attacks, it always moves first, and Coil + Iron Tail / Leaf Blade is busted. It's a good snake.
Shout-out to Chandelure for Curse as well. It saved my ass a couple times.
