I didn't like gens 7, 8 or 9 and the likelihood I'll be a fan of whatever shit region they push out for gen 10 is close to zero. I was fairly open minded with gen 7 but they just lost me and never got me back with any of the rubbish they've put out since.
If you asked me what region I was hoping to see done 10 years ago I'd probably say Ireland, Italy, Greece or Scandinavia but the past few gens have been so awful that now I just hope they stay away from any places I would have loved to see old GF do. When I learned they did Ireland in a DLC for that glitchy piece of shit abomination Sword and Shield I was disappointed.
With that in mind I dunno, maybe Turkey or Israel? Perhaps Zimbabwe or Kazakhstan? Just stay away from any country I actually like or care about pls Gamefreak.
It would have been cool to see southern Kalos but I hope to God that current GF never touches Kalos again. Ideally they'd forget it exists. There's an alternate timeline where instead of phoning in gen 6 they actually did Pokemon Z and southern Kalos but we left the good timeline a long time ago. The recent leaks rubbed salt in an old wound seeing that those fuckers were going to do southern Kalos and Pokemon Z but they decided to just give up and do gay faggot island adventures in Hawaii instead.
