In Pokemon Y, the Ultimate Weapon looks differant than the one in X, because in X, instead of having a large red crystal inside, it's a smaller blue-orb.
The UW in Y kills off everything and everyone, and the amount of power it has deicdes what the range is.
The UW in X is a lot more retarded, because instead of killing everyone off, it makes everyone IMMORTAL. Lysandre explains why he wants everyone immortal: Because they will be forced to live in an imperfect world forever. Yes, it's that retarded.
In X, the UW backfires and ends up destroying itself and TF's Hidden HQ, turning everyone in Team Flare immortal, while also crushing them all under rubble. So they're burried alive.
In Y, it backfires, destroys itself, and kills off every Team Flare member and scientist who was inside the HQ, AKA mass suicide.
I'm an X fag because in all honesty Yveltal is an ugly Legendary, but the story makes a hell of a lot more sense, as well as the ending in Y than it does in X.
