It's not a typical, generic tail, but it's a pretty obvious tail, especially when it g-maxs and turns into a fucking radio tower. Toxtricity is an ambiguous creature, but it's still got amphibian elements. It's just got nothing resembling a frog at all.
>>45333671Salamanders aren't as vocal as frogs and mostly communicate silently but they can make loud squeaks on occasion. However, Toxtricity takes multiple design ques from many species of Salamanders and Newts (especially the Northern Crested Newt) and Newts are poisonous and have the same rounded toes/fingers and lizard-like bodies. Some Newts are also belligerent and aggressive in the same manner that Tox is.
Toxtricity definitely draws from many sources, but I'd say that in terms of amphibious inspirations, it's probably taking more ques from Newts than Frogs.
