Hey /rhg/, sorry I died for a while, but now I'm back with some more Dark Energy. So we left off fighting the insanely overleveled grass gym. After fighting our way through the trainers, we get to the leader who is a Whitney recolor. Her ace is Sunflora which is terrifying with double edge because it 2HKOs the entire team. I poison it with Bulbasaur and wait for recoil/poison damage to kill it.
She gives us a cap which lets us go further into the chilly cave without freezing and ending up at the entrance again. It seems to be luck-based how far you can go, but I'm not sure. Anyway, we find a Smoochum with a hilarious sprite and a Sneasel, but I don't have any balls on me at the time.
Towards the end of the cave, I find a fast ball. Once I exit the cave, I use it on the first thing I see, a Voltorb. Much to my chagrin, I find that Voltorb can't learn any electric moves outside of TM. Shame too, I've always liked that line.
Anyway, we get to the next town and find that Team Darkness is everywhere, including threatening the store clerk, so I can't buy anything, and blocking the gym, so I can't fight the leader.
We go east from town and there are a couple of Team Darkness people there. The two grunts aren't too bad, but then call over not Lt. Surge who HAS A FUCKING LEVEL 37 STEELIX. It proceeds to destroy me, but it's a scripted loss anyway. It's revealed that Team Darkness already has one of the orbs and the Steelix attacks me after I lose.
We wake up in a doctor's house and ask him for the medkit so the hiker we met forever ago can move. He says he'll look for it. I wander around some and find a guy who talks about evolving Eevee and gives me a stone to do so. I'm not sure how it's supposed to work, though. And that's where we are now.
>>21459298Yeah, that happens in Kaizo. I was playing a Blue Kaizo and my Bulbasaur started with leech seed and toxic. Be prepared for a lot of bullshit if it's anything like Blue Kaizo too.
