>>34411954I already played S/M and wanted more of an expansion on the region of Alola itself rather than a small repeat. I love all the sidequests and side content that really make the region feel alive, but Alola is just too damn small to take advantage of that. Pokemon USUM likely didn't even have a year of development time, yet OR/AS was made completely in a year from the ground fucking up. USUM had unused assets aplenty, and while I am VERY grateful for Ultra Space in trying to expand Pokemon's multiversial lore, there was so much more that could have been done, made, and even put into the game if they had an extra 4 months. The fact this was what we should have got from the beginning is terrible. The fact that it costs 40$ is even more of a reason to not believe in it and pass it up.
