Found a couple things. Most of them a bit superficial but there seems to often enough be a link that implies subservience of Dragons to Fairies.
Carabosse, a fairy from french fairy-tales, is said to summon a chariot of fire which is drawn by winged DRAGONS by the use of her magic wand. Such depiction implies command over these powerful creatures.
Carabosse seems to be one of the main inspirations for Maleficent, the fairy godmather at Disney's adaptation of Sleeping Beauty. At the end of the animated film, she transforms into a dragon herself, which was rekting the prince until she is defeated by the thrust of the prince's sword, blessed by the magic of the other good fairies.
