Any of the old threads with a good sense of humor like pic related before "Teach that nigga waterfall" ruined everything by showing trolls they could get tons of responses and recognition by pretending to mess up. Early /tr/ was ripe with them before people turned bitter and the pokephiles rolled in. Speaking of pokephiles, I fondly remember the Shocky threads. Something about watching people break inside was so amusing. Another good memory is how much everyone, myself included sadly, hated Oshawott
Wotter when they first showed him only to end up loving the little fucker by the end of Gen 5, mostly thanks to Fire/Fighting 3.0 and No Contrary not-so-Smugleaf. The best memory so far though was helping leak the animated trailer for BW2 days early when it was accidentally taken off private on Youtube prematurely. Just watching people get so excited over the more mature animated rendition they've dreamed their whole lives over is a treasured memory. Right up there with the week the board came together before we got the mods/janitors where we thought we would be deleted and any of the touching childhood story threads. This board is certainly not perfect, but there have been a wealth of good times among the bad. For every cuddle your warm Typhlosion thread, there's been a little snippet of information I didn't know, a joke that annihilated my sides, or an amazing piece of OC art or comic that just kept me coming back. The streams might be gone, the porn should be gone, and thank Arceus PG is finally fucking gone yet not matter where this board shifts I'll be lurking to be the very best.
Then one day I'll just look back at the fondest memory of them all.
