I should have specified that Mold Breaker and those moves only override a target's defensive abilities; for instance, a Pokemon with Mold Breaker will still have its attack lowered by the Intimidate ability, but it can paralyze a target with Limber. Does Vegeta demonstrate something like this, should I ask?
Also, if you're going to use that as an example, it should be noted that this is Saiyan Saga Vegeta we're talking about here. The fight with Guldo took place later, after Vegeta gained a zenkai boost from the beating Gokuu and friends paid him on Earth, right?
