>Crime Boss of the Poke-equivalent of the mafia/Yakuza>Nice suits>Has straightforward goals like making money or taking over the region/world by force and straightforward means of carrying them out.>Respectful of his opponents>Has a good relationship with his underlings, to the point that their main goal in the Johto games is to call him back>Doesn't even blame his underlings and instead himself, both his words when defeated by Red and as he leaves Silver suggest this>Can be sympathetic (Origins) or completely evil/ambitious (anime)>Then you get the more obscure sidestuff like "How I Became A Pokemon Card" or "It Will All Be Mine" from the musical.I guess seniority/KANTOOOOOO pandering helps though.
>>41071775>>41072071>>41071295"Teams" are probably just a hold over at this point, as well as a really convenient template given most teams are centered around a theme (Galactic Space, Skull: delinquients, Plasma: Knights/Pirates for Neo Plasma).
That said, most recent games tend to use the teams as a decoy for the main evil organization. There's also Cipher from the Orre games I suppose, since I don't recall them being called "Team Cipher" unlike Team Snagem.
