>>21857760We went through Basalt Cave, which contained mostly Ground-type Pokémon, along with Psyduck and Gastly (snagged one of the latter just because Super Star is getting a bit overleveled); at one point I ran into a shiny but I hit ran before I noticed it was shiny because the only thing showing it was the color scheme. Oh well, I'll find another eventually with that item that raises the shiny rate.
Outside the cave is Nickel City -- "A place that does not change." There's a Trainer House that gives you Flash after beating all the trainers
I'm never using it; I don't even have to since you can easily see in Gen I without Flash by just tilting your screen.
