At least in the case of Arceus we know that the Pokémon self of Arceus is really more like an "avatar" for the actual Arceus. With Pokémon being a game series, you gotta think some of the possible actions that the player can take are not canon. Like multiplayer Pokémon Battles, multiplayer Trading, transfer from other games and obviously outright cheating. These allow for multiple of any Pokémon species to be together on one save. But there's also lots of other strangeness with Pokémon canon like timelines and dimensions and stuff like that. Eh, it's complex.

I find the idea of having an OC of them, let alone a Pokésona of them, to be strange. Although, really each person's own fan content is their own canon, so in that way it's fine. Good idea for a thread though.
