>>29167056I'm not upset anon. The first four gens were based off of Japan after all, so it's only natural that there would be a lack of black/dark skinned people. Regions like Unova, Kalos, and Alola will obviously have that diversity to an extent. I'm just more so happy about getting to change the character's skin tone somewhat close to mine should I feel the need to self insert myself into the game, but even then, I've been doing that since I've started playing. So, I guess it's kinda irrelevant to me. I guess it's just nice to see change over the course of 20 years.
