Some people who a variety of reasons (the TOS, the staff being a bunch of assholes) don't want to be associated with deviantART.
Rather I think people should leave a journal for their followers about where are they going. I mean it's not like the author owes you anything, but I can't help but grow worried. Plus I want to continue supporting their work.
