I like that Emmet is physically expressive but has a clipped, scripted mode of speech while Ingo is physically restrained but is loud and talkative. I like that Emmet has a sharp tongue and says whatever is on his mind without really thinking about what other people are thinking and Ingo has to restrain him both verbally and physically. They're just interesting characters and have a good dynamic together, and Ingo being flung back in time halfway across the world as an amnesiac opens up a lot of potential characterization.
