Pokémon fans paying for a game that they don't understand. GameFreak has designed its Pokémon based in specific origins, knowing that these origins can give ugly designs. For example Garbodor, Weezing and Muk are ugly because are criticism of environmental pollution. Or Pokémon like Claydol or Probopass, that are weird designs because are based on weird artifacts. They think that GameFreak should design adorable or badass designs whatever the origin. But, they continue to design ugly Pokémon after 20 years of the franchise.
Then, who is wrong? Is Game Freak for making ugly designs from the beginning? Or is the fan who pays for them?
