Lapras (Leftovers): Ice Beam, Surf, Drill Run, Perish SongThe battle starts off strong, with Lettuce dealing a ton of damage to Cloyster with Giga Drain, who responds with Screech. Pryce heals up with a Full Restore, but two more hits defeat Cloyster without letting Lettuce take any damage. Pryce sends out Jynx and uses a Sp. Atk, but Lettuce gets its own boost with AncientPower. On the next turn, Lettuce brings Jynx down to low health, but our speed gets lowered by Icy Wind. Lettuce is still fast enough to strike first, KO'ing Jynx with Cut.
Pryce sends out Aricuno, who barely hangs on after a super-effective AncientPower and misses with Blizzard. After Articuno faints the next turn, Pryce watches in horror as the same thing happens to his Dewgong, Piloswine, and Lapras one after another. He hands over the gold Glacierbadge, as well as HM06 (Whirlpool). Whirlpool now functions like a Water-type version of Magma Storm, so it's not nearly as useless as it normally would be. Anyway, there are only three Gym Leaders left.
