>>56004430fair enough reasoning. i actually thought of jellicent for him way back in the first drafts for the same reasons, i'm sure runegrigus would've come to mind as well since cofagrigus was also on the table, but i didn't play swsh and have a tendency to forget a lot of galarmons exist. while area zero probably piques his curiosity a bit, i would sort of imagine the fact that the player character (or in this case, bibi) went there isn't really public knowledge since briar purposefully refrains from explicitly mentioning them in her book about the terapagos expedition. before her book is published paradox mons are probably regarded as being flat out myths or long dead, and confirmation or no, sneaking into area zero means drawing the league's attention even if you *can* handle whatever it throws at you. mega sharpedo is there because i think its got more personality than mega salamence. i know you can get mega stones at battle facilities in certain games but in a story i'd treat them as a little more....mystical, i suppose. not at all easy to get your hands on even when seeking them out specifically. he's lucky enough his hunts grant him the sharpedonite. i'm sure he'd keep looking for a salamencite but i'm not going to write him as having one here and now. i have no particular fondness for kanto but nidoking's cool as fuck, i wanted him to have some poison rep on his team, and sheer force sounds like a fun ability to write. i don't dislike your suggestions but as is, i'm happy enough with the team.
