IDK to me it seems like guys are more limited in wardrobe choices. Go to a wedding and you'll see women in all kinds of beautiful outfits, and then there's the men in slacks and a button-up shirt.
I should go with something more outdoorsy for sure. Since he comes from a rich family I had this kinda snobby image in my head. I just went with what I personally like, combined it with the more flamboyant official Pokémon character designs, and then toned it way down (picrel was the original design, feel free to laugh).
