The game uses sort of version exclusives, events that give you pokemon are sometimes randomized and determined when you start your save file. I actually wanted the Panpour that would have been available otherwise. The alternative is Slugma you can buy from the game corner just before the grass gym.
So, only Slugma and maybe Panser. The game just fucking gave me this beauty for a sidequest though. Close Combat Growlithe. It's beautiful.
