Like you either spend hundreds or thousands of hours to get the optimal mon just so you aren't at a disadvantage or you just insert it in 5 minutes. I'm surprised they haven't added microtransactions to skip the grind yet. I can see it already, Super Poke Bank Training. Lets you edit your mons within ruleset legality for a few dollars per IV roll, few dollars for locking the IV's you like when you reroll, 10 bucks for a shiny, 2 bucks to skip EV training etc. etc.
Guess them being stubborn and/or incompetent is better. Gen the mons and save yourself the headache.
