In addition to becoming more slim, agile, nimble and a darker shade of blue, Frogadier's tongue extends and wraps itself around his head like a scarf. His triangle-shaped protrusions grow bigger and more sharper. His toes become more webbed, efficient for water-walking purposes. Finally, his black eyes receive vastly improved vision with the addition of piercing red irises.
