The reason these games stand out is for the story and presentation. I can still remember the times I entered Nimbasa and Castelia city for the first time. The New York style, the upbeat music, and the overall optimistic aesthetic of the cities. The story is by far the best in the series, long gone are the basic "Take-Over-The-World-Plots", they've been replaced with a story that really makes you wonder, "Am I the bad guy? Are my pokemon REALLY my friends?"
