For context, I just beat Milo by soloing him with a Carkol as seen here. I caught it as a Rolycoly and kept it in my party for passive xp over two routes. I thought it was happening when Milo's Eldgloss dynmaxed, but after one Max Overgrowth which did half my Carkol's hp, it REFUSED to do it again for some reason, instead it just wasted its three remaining dynamax turns by spamming Max Strike, which being a normal type move was NFE against my carkol. Only reason I even bothered to Dynamax was because I wanted one turn of kino kaiju vs kaiju action before reality set back in.
So boss AI literally helps you win, I genuinely hope this is just a thing for Milo else this garbage is going to get 8+s
