I specifically remember wondering why this one was blue.
Figured maybe it was a glitch or something, think I missed the Shiny animation, but figured I'd catch it anyways.

Mine was a Numel back in Pokemon Sapphire. I think I missed the shine animation, but I was intrigued by its different color so I caught it. Eventually got a black Camerupt, and the kids at day care thought it was super cool.
One kid had a golden Altaria he boasted about, but the other kids were like "But he has a BLACK Camerupt!"
