Ice types have guaranteed favourite berries, +1 main skill level, +1 to gathered ingredients, 1.5x skill trigger rate.
Dream shard gains are doubled from both sleep research, and Dream Shard Magnet S main skill activations. Sleep research shards are tripled when starting a sleep session on December Wednesday 25th and Sunday 29th.
Newly debuting Pokémon are the Alolan Vulpix and Pawmi lines, which will be easier to encounter than usual, along with many ice types.
Pikachu (Holiday) and Eevee (Holiday) wearing Santa hats will be available too, with Eevee being new. Note that Pikachu (Holiday) has Dream Shard Magnet and is a skill specialist, compared to regular or Halloween Pikachu.
Event missions will be available that award incenses for these new Pokémon, and generous amounts of dream shards and biscuits.
Shiny rate is apparently boosted, by how much is unknown.
When signing in on the 24th and 25th you'll receive "Dream Gifts", contents yet unknown.
On the 25th, you'll receive 1225 bonus Sleep Points.
The Candy Boost function will be available, where you can double the EXP gained from using candies, but at the cost of using 5x as many dream shards. You can boost up to 500 candies per day, this is recommended for species whose candies are scarce due to appearing rarely, or for giving low level Pokémon a leg up when dream shard costs are still low.
