Didn't like how Machamp and Hitmonchan had clothes on, and these three are even worse because you have three different species of mons with the same article of clothing. I'd say the problem with modern mons is that they are overdesigned, I would prefer "simple" or "lazy" designs over complex and convoluted ones.
Ditto and even Voltorb objectively are better designs because you can actually imagine an entire species looking like that all with slight variations. I can't imagine an entire species of creature all wearing the same headband all the time, it's just dumb.
