>>36448352Gen 7 was my first ever pokemon game. I always "knew" about pokemon but never purchased or played a pokemon game until Pokemon Moon. Pokemon GO doesn't really count as a main series game but I play that, too.
I love it now. I dove in head first and I'm all about the training mons, good teams, bad teams, I like playing on showdown, and I also bought/played Ultra Moon. I even bought PokeBank so I could have my monotype bug team in Ultra Moon. I had a lot of help learning stuff from my friends who were always big into pokemon, and they think I'd enjoy Pokemon Black.
SM is also the first pokemon anime I ever watched, and I really like it. I don't get all the huge hatred for it. My BIGGEST gripe is all the wasted potential from the show. Nothing about Team Skull, nothing about Poni, Mina gets ONE fucking episode (But her VA also voices ZeroTwo which is fucking AWESOME), they barely do/show anything about the island trials or totems, too.
So yeah. I guess my confession is that I really like Gen 7 despite all the hate I hear about it.
