I just want them to be usable. Not even great, or even remotely competitive. I just want to be able to use one when I play.
Even in the TCG, where it could have had a chance to shine by getting rid of the "Only 4 of" ruling for it, but instead they gave that ability to fucking ARCEUS instead. They could have given it to Unown and have it work exactly like Sliver decks in MtG, and it would have been a super casual but at least somewhat usable deck.
And the actual games give it even LESS. Other gimmick mon at least have some niche they can fill. Even ditto got EXTREME use after its gimmick, by expanding the gimmick to other parts of the game. There is literally no reason that Unown shouldn't get SOMETHING.
