Personally, my answer is definitely LGPE. It's the best Kanto game imo. It's easy to see how much love and attention to detail was put in this game. The whole region just seems bigger and nicer somehow, than it does in other games. Having Megas is a big bonus for me, too. I also love the fact that you can rematch all the Gym Leaders, Master Trainers and especially Red, Blue and Green. The following Pokémon feature is also perfect in this game.
