CN would never give a licensed show like Pokemon a random out of the blue marathon of any sort without a justifiable reason when that kind of priority would easily go to an original show, and even if they would, it would definitely be an XY marathon, not something from the 4Kids era. Marathons have typically aired before or after movies in the past. The Genesect movie also debuted at the same time last year IIRC.
It correlates with Bulbapedo report. I don't want to say they're outright right, but it's highly unlikely that the channel would put priority to marathoning Pokemon without a special reason for doing so when the opportunity could easily go to another round of the same five episodes of Clarence you've seen over and over again.
