>>49174769In the first few gens it really doesn’t matter. The sprites of the MC are so small and ambigu you can really just interpret whatever age you want for them. The gen 5 and 6 protags look like late teens or even early 20 somethings.
I guess since Sun and Moon it’s been a bit harder to pretend like you aren’t playing as a 10 year old. It’s obvious when you’re standing next to any older character how short your’s is. The LGPE protags look the most explicitly young.
But with customization it all sorta stops mattering. My Shield girl with the right clothes on looks like a 20 year old.
