Hatching dozens of fucking eggs to get a Pokemon with perfect IVs and natures is cancer, it's even more cancerous when the Pokemon you are working for has multiple abilities and the perfect IV pokemon that gets hatched has one that isn't viable. Not to mention the mons that you got up to then clutter the fuck out of your PC box.
If there is anything I'm fine with GameFreak making more casual it's the grind to get a Pokemon with good IVs.
As for shinies, I don't give a shit. They're recolors, Gamefreak could make shiny hunting autists happy by keeping these systems that make finding shinies easier in place, but make it so Pokemon now have two shiny forms, with the second form being even harder to find and would have a flat 1/8192 encounter rate.
