Loudred ended up clutching against Triple Battle man due to being able to cleave through his entire party, but I sadly lost Dwayne the Crustle. After that Roon killed my Magmar and Darmanitan but they won me the fight with burning his physical sweepers and punching them to death. After that Clay was brutal taking out my useless Wishcash Mat, which didn't know any water moves due to move reminder being locked behind beating Clay. Secret the now Exploud was another sacrifice I had to make to get a clean switch in against Clay and Secret the Azumarill had to stay in so she could get his Excadril low enough and get a clean switch in for DYK the Swampert so she could finish him off.
Mother BRN the Reuniclus was surprisingly the MVP with it's wonder guard allowing it to safely switch into and open the battle against Clay's Toxic, Sandstorm, Stealth Rock Nidoqueen.
Clay's team doesn't try to cover it's weakness that well and instead goes for a setup and sweep with his excadrill, pretty scary but less annoying than Elesa's constant volt switching.
Although looking at what's left in my box I've probably been too willing to sacrifice non-starters and too conservative with sacrificing my starter gift-mons.
