>>48759468I agree with this way of thinking in general but Galar is filled to the fucking brim with monotypes (there's seven mono-Fightings alone, more than every other gen except 1 and tied with 5 despite the significantly lower dex size)
It really needed some other typing to help stand out because it's just another forgettable mono-Fighting without it
Not even saying it needed to be Fighting/Water, I feel like Fighting/Dark would've worked fine for it while also not being a water type
