Back with another bi-gym update, I've been nolifing the game hard, basically haven't been able to put it down.
Gyms 5 & 6:
>Last update ended right before Clay. Like Burgh, it was an easy fight, Juna (Lilligant) set up a Quiver Dance and killed the first 2 Pokemon, Excadrill got a crit Bulldoze and had me at -2 Speed so I just went out to Milady (Herdier) to finish it off.
>Got to evolve Milady into a Stoutland FINALLY, did some grinding and went to Chargestone
>Did a little bit of repelling to increase my odds of getting something strong on B2F and ended up getting the prize, Tynamo!
>Excel the Karrablast died catching it but he was dead on next level to Lifespan anyways, Cici the Tynamo oined the team, I rolled a Lifespan of 41, which isn't enough for endgame but it does let me evo all the way to Elektross.
>Off to Mistralton, my Route 7 catch was a Watchog in a double Dark Grass battle, I chose it over Zebstrika because I like making my life hard, but it is one of the only 2 lines in Unova to learn Baton Pass, so I saw more value in it long-term
>Have to send out Prada the Liepard to weaken it, it already crit Chungus, then it fucking crits Prada again and he dies, this one stung ngl. I do catch Brenda the Watchog at the end, and I roll a Lifespan of 47 onto her, nice!
>At this point in the game, my team was pretty shitty, lots of frail Pokemon and NFEs, and Milady was carrying most fights by herself. Everything else was blocked by bad Lifespans.
>I raise Noel into a Vanillish for some insurance and I go to fight Skyla, Milady ends up carrying the entire fight by herself, however I end up ticking her into Lv. 36 after killing Swanna. This makes Milady the first mon of mine to die of Old Age, and I box her after an amazing Swan Song [haha] of a gym battle from my very first capture. RIP Milady, gone but never forgotten...
