>>53256239I actually like XY for the emotional episodes. Shit like the Tyrunt, Luxray or Espurr episodes worked really well. Then you had funny fillers like the one where they make a Pikachu movie, or they're chased by Meowth in a Pokemon factory, or Chespin goes on an errand, or Clemont gets a gf, or Clemont and James geek out at some invention festival.
People talk about muh shonen about XY but it was super comfy and funny. Just a solid show all-around.
