Even if you're retarded enough to buy the legacy games from ebay scalpers (or you were smart/lucky enough to still have all the mons from 2004), there's a handful of mythical mons that haven't been redistributed in years, there's a good dozen shiny locked legendary mons, and some mythical mons have never had shiny distributions, so there's no way to even have a legit shiny living dex. Might as well just hack in the ones you like.
