The pokemon company has decided for a new animation team for the 2020 season of pokemon and I got to see the first concept arts, it’ll obviously change.
I saw 4 sheets which was 3 characters with details and numbers and a single one with animation style, numbers and again japanese details i think.
First one was Ash (lol) with pikachu and a pokemon kind of like a grass totodile+charmander? It looked really energetic. Ash gave me a BW2 kind of vibe in the way that he looks more action packed and detailed? Pikachu was like every other pilachu ig.
The second page is Guzma except not the way i know him. He looked really young and less like a thug? Looks younger than game guzma too. He doesnt seem to be a boss, he was just sitting in tree’s and being in nature and stuff. Carried an egg together with him which is probably just wimpod.
The third character was a girl with darker hair, probably brown. Her clothes looked a little old but it makes sense maybe, just wait. You saw her playing with baby pokemon and marill + eevee.
The fourth one was just scenery and even more moonrunes but above it did say 1979. I didnt think much of it but wikipedia says its the heisei period which makes sense with the older clothing on the girl. There wasnt really much else.
