To me they kinda feel like something they felt the need to add because of the main games, but in the main games I can easily build a team that covers weaknesses. In this card game it feels next to impossible.

They were a nice little distraction but overall clunky.

If for example they had elements to interact with such as for example maybe you had to build friend areas so that they attract or are suitable for Pokemon.

When people say the menus are just sprites on an image the originals were literally just that for 90% of them as they were just mirrored images.

A lot of variants just look like they were made for the sake of being made and not adapting to a new/different environment. I know people will defend them but I will always have a problem with how unnatural they tend to look even if the design is cool
this extends to a lot of newer pokemon too not just variants

Yeah, because all the normies left in crystal/RS.
Game freak started trying hard by doing tons of spin offs and then in gen 4 and 5 to recover, which brought back a lot of people and got a shitton of new players.
Keep in mind that the piracy rate of the DS was THROUGH THE FUCKING ROOF, yet the games sol that much.

I didn't pay for bank in like 3 years.
Had full living dex and other, "main pokemon" kind of important stuff.
Just fell out of Pokemon and had other shit to do.

After checking a week ago and re subbing, nothing was deleted, I think they're too lazy to even do that.

BW2 is probably a 9.5 or so.
Completely right

sword and shield has less content, less pokemon, completely laughable graphics, etc.
While BW2 squeezed the hardware as hard as it could and had a shitton of features.

sword and shield is a 5-6 game, best case scenario.
