>人の過去や未来を見ることができる。>He has the ability to see the past and future of people. From Masuda's commentary on N's battle theme:
>7~10 過去未来が読めるというニュアンスで時計の音で表現。>The nuance of being able to read the past and the future is represented by the sound of a clock.>>45884029Your take is completely reasonable and accurate and completely satisfied my own personal interpretation for years, mostly because N being autistic is obviously true and it can be used to explain away a lot of the weirder stuff he says. I'm here to tell you that based on my research of BW's script and development that I disagree. I've encountered evidence that proves that N being an mathematical genius with autistic traits AND a superhuman with psychic abilities was intended for him during development. With this new knowledge, I can now point to multiple instances in the Japanese script that I believe can only be adequately explained by N still having actual clairvoyant abilities, but BW itself expects the player to just roll with it and this has caused me to view N as inconsistent within the context of that particular game, even if a coherent character can still be read from what we got.
