I haven't gotten Sword and Shield because I thought it was shameful that they locked out Pokemon and wanted to charge DLC prices to get them. Among other issues of course. I recently decided to check back up on it, and found out that in their DLC that added following pokemon they couldn't even be bothered to do that right. A lot of pokemon will lag behind and follow so slowly that they can't even stay in render distance. Another fan beloved feature butchered and sold separately for a quick buck. Now, while I'm shitting all over Sword and Shield, I do love the series. I love battling and breeding and trading and everything. I just finished a quick marathon of Platinum, White, and White 2 this week. But knowing that going forward I may just stop because of the direction really sucks. So tell me, is there any hope? Will it get better? Or should I just accept that it's soulless now?
