He had a mawile with him and was the first one to mega evolve Mawile in the world. He and Mawile and Skarmory helped singlehandedly win the war and he is arguably one of the strongest trainers in the world.... and that's just with Skarmory and Mawile! People hardly see him use his other 4 pokemon and he secretly has a Yveltal that no one has seen before because he never Had to use his 6th pokemon. Never lost a battle before and is a good friend and mentor of Shane.
