I stand by the fact that it's an incredibly unique, efficient and visually appealing design that gets across it's own concepts incredibly well while also packing a lot into it (both by-nature and by-design) without coming across as cluttered.
But you know, a lot of people don't see it this way, and that's fine. Where I take issue is my eyes being assaulted by bottom of the barrel dreck that people claim "fixes" it without so much as an inkling of understanding about the inspirations that went into it or what it's trying to convey, thus leading to confused messes that obliterate the standing subtlety of the design while becoming cluttered and confused, or incredibly bland and safe designs that boil down what a monster in this series IS to what it "should be" in their eyes ironically taking on the mindset of a soulless marketer with design-by-committee sensibilities.
At least, that's what I think.
