Ida remains one of my favorite characters next to Franco, considering the realization that her boss has gotten into some real deep shit she's handling it rather well. Hope she enjoyed those churros, love them. I wonder if she's a sweet tooth?
The bits I enjoyed the most where the parts where Franco was answering his own question about "Champion of what?", anytime Franco gave Primeape props for being the GOAT, all the references to Bibi and ofc Ida being Ida.
Even if I don't necessarily agree with his sentiments I think my favorite part of Franco's character is the way that he interprets the events of his life. It's all a narrative that he's built up over the years as he comes by opportunity to opportunity without any of them quite filling the void for that *something* he's looking for.
Maybe the biggest problem for him is that he's capable, too. Incredibly so, probably to his own detriment. A little boy from Paldea stuck in a cycle of watching the world, or maybe just the people in it, fall short of his hopes again and again no matter how hard he tries to fix things.
Man he needs a vacation.
