Go to the Game Corner and grind like hell. Croconaw is able to learn both Substitute and Swords Dance. His attack is good, you'll only need two Swords Dances to OHKO Miltank, but if you can get 3 with your Sub still up, all the better.
Do not, under any circumstances get rid of Bite though. If you keep it, you can do the exact same thing to Morty's team.

Funny enough, two of my friends started doing Nuzlockes ever since I did my LeafGreen run: the one I mentioned above, and another who is on attempt 3 of Sword. Neither of them post here unfortunately.
