Applin is fine as a 1st stage but Flapple sounds like they came up with the name first, I get it worm wyrm but Flapple just looks incomplete it's basic lizard/worm body just glued? to it's apple skin. Ask anyone to make a apple dragon and they could make a better design.
Appleton looks like a puss filled naked yoshi, people canonically peal the skin off of it's back to eat like some delicious scabs. Fuck this "heckin chonker" pokemon.
Im convinced Flapple was at one point just an awkward mid evo and the final evo was made their gigantamax. Appleton feels like they added it last minute. They didn't even bother giving them different gigantamaxs.
